The Coweta-Fayette Georgia Tech Club hosted its 8th annual Freshman Class Sendoff BBQ on Aug. 27. Students and parents were treated to a rousing speech on “How to Succeed at Georgia Tech,” by retired Dean Miller Templeton who is still the advisor to the GT President’s Scholars. Also giving a welcome was the new President of the GT Student Body, Dillon Roseen, who attended our sendoff three years ago and was motivated to start his journey to leadership at Georgia Tech.
Linda Henson Sorrow, club president, organized the event for the 15 Freshmen that attended.
