PTCUMC men’s breakfast set for Aug. 2
PTCUMC United Methodist Men’s next breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 2 beginning at 7:45 a.m. with coffee and fellowship, and breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Windgate Multi-Purpose Room. Guest speaker is Will Garner, executive director of the Midwest Food Bank-Georgia Division. Midwest formed in 2003 as a non-profit organization that provides food to over 225,000 needy people every month throughout the U.S. and aboard.

Free genealogy class offered
The LDS Church’s Fayetteville Family History lab will host a free class on Finding Your Family in the Census. Wednesday, Aug. 6 from 7 – 8:30 p.m. at 2021 Redwine Road in Fayetteville. Those attending can bring their own laptop/tablet or use those provided by the church.  For questions or more information email ffhlab@gmail.com.

Help pack Stop Hunger meals Aug. 24
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will host a Stop Hunger Now meal packing event on Aug. 24. Lunch will be at 12 p.m. and packing will start at 1 p.m. The church is at 175 E. Lanier Ave. (Ga. Hwy. 54), across from the historic courthouse in downtown Fayetteville. For more information, call the church office, 770-461-4313.

GriefShare starts at Holy Trinity
GriefShare, a 13-week Christian support group for those who have lost a loved one, will be offered at Holy Trinity Church, 101 Walt Banks Rd, Peachtree City.  Meetings include a video seminar and an opportunity to interact and share with others who have lost a loved one.  Attend on Wednesday evenings, 7-9 p.m. or on Friday mornings, 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room #102 beginning Aug. 20 and 22. Dave Ramsey’s finance course set for Aug.
Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University  is returning to Peachtree City United Methodist Church. This biblically based curriculum teaches people how to handle money God’s way. There are nine weekly lessons starting in August. A course preview of what it’s all about is set for  Sunday, Aug. 3,  at 4 p.m. in Room 300 at the Robinson Road Campus. Zumba classes continue at FFUMC
