Mary Hill Fisher, 84, of Fayetteville, passed away May 14, 2014.

She was an employee of Bank of America from 1954 thru 2000. She was a member of the Fayette S.O.F.A. (Society of Fine Arts) and retired as treasurer. She was a graduate of O’Keefe High School in Atlanta and was a graduate of the class of 1948. She was a well-established oil, pastel and watercolor artist and published illustrator.

She was preceded in death by her son Col. Steve Fisher U.S.M.C. retired and her husband James H. Fisher, Jr.

She is survived by her sons Rocky Fisher, David (Elizabeth) Fisher and Mark Fisher; daughters Susan (Mike) Bishop and Cindy (Gil) Fisher; daughter-in-law Pattie Fisher; grandchildren Josh, Jamie, Patrick, Loren, Riley, Parker, Jacob, Savanna and Cooper; great-grandchild Palmer; sisters Betty Turner and Edith Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, May 18, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rocky Fisher as Celebrant. The burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
