Harold H. Brown, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away April 26, 2014.
He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War, and later was a Correctional Officer for Fulton County.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Pam Brown; grandchild Angela Brown; great-grandchild Abigail Williams; parents Hugh & Jewell Brown; sister Evelyn; and brother-in-law Bill.
He is survived by his daughter Jeanne Thompson of Conyers; son David (Susie) Brown of Hartwell; grandchildren Mark VanTassell, Wesley VanTassell, Kimberly Williams, Koty Brown, Kelsey Brown and Chris Mosley; eleven great-grandchildren; and a first cousin Faith Hewett.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Senoia City Cemetery following visitation. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell and Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
The family requests no flowers and asks that donations be made to Egleston Children’s Hospital, 1405 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30322-1062.
