John Allen Beall, IV, age 64, passed away Wed. Mar. 26, 2014. Mr. Beall was a 1971 graduate of Auburn University and a 1984 graduate of Woodrow Wilson College of Law.
He last served as the senior conflict criminal defense attorney for the state of Ga. from 2009-2012.
Prior to this position he was a criminal and civil defense attorney in Jonesboro, Ga. from 1985 to 2009.
He served as a member and president of the Clayton County Bar Association, member of Clayton County Masons, Jonesboro Chapter, and a long time communicant of Saint Andrew’s Church in Peachtree City, Ga.
Mr. Beall was preceded in death by his father, Major General John Allen Beall, III. and his mother Lollie Ruth Beall, as well as his brother James Kennon Beall.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 43 years, Cheryl Beall, as well as his sons and daughters, Ashley DeLouise Beall & Carmen Lydia Colon, John Allen Beall V & Angela Nichols Beall, and Kyle William Copeland & Arianne Beall Copeland.
A funeral service was held on April 1, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Saint Andrews Episcopal Church in Peachtree City, Ga. His family received guests after the service in the parish hall.
