Mrs. Alley Faye Davidson, age 87, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2014.
She was born on June 23, 1926, in Morgan County, Ky., to the late Robert and Lucy Adkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilton Davidson; five brothers and one sister, William Raymond Adkins, Clancy Adkins, Leon Adkins, Paul Adkins, Earl Adkins, and Clara Adkins Meyer.
She lived for many years in Dayton, Ohio, and Jackson, Tenn., before moving to Peachtree City, Ga., in 1999 to be with her family, and she made many new friends along the way. She was a member of the First Dayton Freewill Baptist Church in Dayton, Ohio, and also attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Sharpsburg, Ga.
She is survived by her two sons, Roger Davidson and wife Lois Jean (Jeanie), and Gary Davidson; two granddaughters, Dawn Davidson, and Christina Peacock and husband Scott; and two great grandsons, Owen Peacock and Gabriel Peacock.
A funeral service was held Thursday, March 27, 2014 at 11 o’clock in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hines officiating.
