Peachtree City United Methodist Church’s Global Impact Celebration (GIC) starts this evening at its Worship Ministry Center, 225 Robinson Rd. The event continues through Feb. 9.
The celebration is open to the public and will feature speakers from around the world and around the neighborhood, with events for all ages.
More than 20 missionary guests will participate, including local organizations like Fayette Samaritans, Healing Bridge Clinic and Square Foot Ministry, as well as regional and international organizations. Call 770-487-6499 to register; most events are free.

• Wednesday, Feb. 5, 6:30 p.m., Kick-Off Celebration worship service;
• Friday, Feb. 7, 11:30 a.m., Adult luncheon with missionaries;
• Friday, Feb. 7, 6:30 p.m., Family International Banquet with question and answer panel;
• Saturday, Feb. 8, 8 a.m., Men’s breakfast;
• Saturday, Feb. 8, 10 a.m., Children’s Global Adventure;
• Saturday, Feb. 8, 11 a.m., Women’s brunch;
• Saturday, Feb. 8, 2:30 p.m., Kindness Outreach Event;
• Saturday, Feb. 8, 7 p.m., Youth Secret Church;
• Sunday, Feb. 9, 9:30 and 11 a.m., Faith Promise worship services
• Sunday, Feb. 9, 6 p.m.: Life Commitment service.
