0Section leaders of the Fayette County High School Marching Band were joined by school officials for a presentation by the Fayette County Board of Education on Nov. 18 recognizing the band for being named grand champions in the recent Valhalla Marching Band Competition at Northgate High School in Coweta County. FCHS was also ranked 8th overall in the recent Bands of America Super Regional Invitational Competition in Winston Salem, N.C. Photo/Ben Nelms.
