White Oak barbecue coming up Oct. 5
The 30th Annual Fall Barbecue at White Oak Presbyterian Church will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Perennial favorites — barbecue plates, quarts of Brunswick stew, and pounds of barbecue — will be $8 each. Proceeds support White Oak’s foreign and local missionaries and missions. White Oak Presbyterian is in Coweta County at 2796 Gordon Rd., near the intersection of Ga. Hwy. 54, between Sharpsburg/Turin and Luthersville.

CDM to host prophetic service
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will have a Prophet Chambers prophetic service Sunday, Oct. 6,  at 5 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier.  For directions, contact the CDM office at 770-969-8370. No nursery or childcare will be provided.

COS offers ‘Hope’ services
All are welcome at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church’s “Hope Service” on Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. These bi-monthly services are designed to offer prayers, support, and comfort. The Oct. 7 service will focus on the healing power of laughter. The COS Flute Choir will provide special music. The church is on the corner of Ga. Hwy. 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.

Mt. Olive will have Women’s Revival
Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1565  Ga. Hwy. 92 N., Fayetteville, will host its Women’s Revival Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, Oct. 9, 10, and 11 at 7 p.m. Women’s Day will be Sunday, Oct. 13,  at 10 a.m.   The Rev. Melvin Ware is pastor. The community is invited to attend.
