The community is invited to join Dr. Wes Youngberg, author of Goodbye Diabetes: Preventing and Reversing Diabetes the Natural Way, for a free community health event to be presented Sept. 13 and 14 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church on Ga. Hwy. 34 just west of Peachtree City. Youngberg will share current research on the most effective lifestyle-medicine strategies.
Friday’s session, Sept 13, will begin at 7 p.m. and will focus on “Turning good genes on and bad genes off: Mastering your genetic risk with lifestyle and nutritional medicine.”
Saturday’s morning session, Sept 14, will begin at 11:10 a.m. and will cover “Genes, health, behavior and spirituality — what’s the connection?”
Saturday’s evening session will begin at 7 p.m. and will cover “Goodbye diabetes, heart disease and cancer risk: Preventing and reversing diseases the natural way.”
The Saturday evening session will be followed by a question and answer session, a book signing and light refreshments.
