He leaves his wife of 52 years, Ginny; son Thomas Blackburn, Jr. of Wilson, Wyo. and daughter, Jamie B. Tom served in the US Navy before his career in Sales Management. After moving to Ga. in 1984, he became an avid golfer and once retired, enjoyed working in a Peachtree City golf store for ten years. More recently he set up a small golf club repair business in his garage.

Other than his family, his greatest passion was riding his Harley motorcycle and he made many long distance trips through all states but Hawaii. The greatest was a five-week, ten-thousand mile trip to Alaska with Ginny to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 2011. Tom couldn’t get enough riding often traveled with his close group of motorcycle friends. He was proud of the fact that in seven years he logged more than 140,000 miles on his Harley, which he left to Tom Jr. to continue in his place.

Tom was greatly loved and will be missed by many. His family will celebrate his life in private.
