Bethlehem Baptist hosts revival
Bethlehem Baptist Church will hold its summer revival at 7 p.m., Wednesday through Friday, August 21-23.  The host pastor is the Rev. Dwight Elder.  The revivalists will be the Rev. Leon Astin of Friendship Baptist Church in College Park on Wednesday, the Rev. Michael McClelland of New Life Tabernacle Church in Newnan on Thursday, and the Rev. Anthony Williams of United In Faith Christian Ministries in Jackson on Friday.  Bethlehem is at 475 Dividend Drive in Peachtree City, near the entrance to Falcon Field.

Dogwood to offer GriefShare
Dogwood Church, 975 Ga. Hwy. 74 South in Tyrone, will offer a GriefShare support group on Wednesday evenings beginning Aug. 21, from 7-8:30 p.m.  The group  will meet in the Atrium area of the church office. The 13-week program is led by people who understand what grieving people are going through and want to help. The program will also provide access to valuable GriefShare resources to help one recover from their loss and look forward to rebuilding their life. GriefShare starts Aug. 21, 23 at Holy Trinity
GriefShare is being offered at Holy Trinity Church at 101 Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City.  GriefShare is a 13-week Christian grief recovery group for those who have lost a loved one. Each session is self-contained so one can begin attending at any time. The Wednesday evening group begins on Aug. 21 and runs from 7-9 p.m.  The Friday morning group begins on Aug. 23 and meets from  9:30-11:30 a.m. The meetings are held in room #103 in the Faith Formation Building. CDM to host Next Level Living meeting
Christ Discipleship Ministries will host a Next Level Living meeting on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 4 p.m. at CDM in Fairburn. The guest speaker will be Pastor Jason Coussons of Emmanuel Congregational Holiness Church in Griffin. No nursery or child care will be provided. For directions call the CDM office, 770-969-8370.

‘Noah’ play to be presented
“Noah and the Big Big Boat,” an original play, will be presented at Sharpsburg Baptist Church on Friday, Sept 5  at 7 p.m.  and Saturday, Sept 6 at 2 and 7 p.m.  The cost is $10 for adults; children under 12 are free. The plot deals with what might happen if the ark was finished, the flood was coming, and Noah’s youngest son Japheth was not married yet. The comedy is suitable for all ages. Whitewater celebrating 5th anniversary
WhiteWater Church in Fayetteville is having its Fifth Anniversary Celebration on Sunday, Sept. 8 at 10 a.m. Following the celebration, there will be a brief groundbreaking ceremony for the new addition. GriefShare is being offered at the First Baptist Church, Peachtree City,  starting Oct. 1.  This is a 13-week Christian grief recovery group for those who have lost loved ones.  Each session is self-contained, so one can begin attending at any time.  The support group will meet every Tuesday afternoon from 2  until 3:30 p.m. in room 504 at the FBCPTC, starting Oct. 1.  To pre-register or learn more about the program, contact either Ron or Carol Purvis at 770-502-9775.

Word of Life FMC offers relationship class
Word of Life Free Methodist Church in Fayetteville offers Relationships 101 classes each third Friday of the month from 7-9 p.m.  The church is at 405 Fayette Place, Fayetteville, behind the Dairy Queen in the Harvest Community Shopping Center, in front of the Wings and Things Restaurant.
