In a continuing partnership between Peachtree City and Fayette Senior Services, a new facility was opened last week.

The two groups  entered a management agreement in January, 2012 for Fayette Senior Services to provide classes and activities at its Gathering Place. The agreement was expanded to include McIntosh Place.

On hand for the occasion was Nancy Meaders, Fayette Senior Services CEO, and Vanessa Fleisch, Peachtree City Council.

A copy of the activities at the Fayetteville and two Peachtree City facilities is available at any of the three facilities. The Fayetteville facility is at 4 Center Drive, near the Justice Center, The Gathering Place is at 203 McIntosh Trail, near the Frederick Brown Amphitheater, and McIntosh Place is just short drive from there at 191 McIntosh Trail.

Membership is at $25 for county residents age 50 or older. The Fayetteville facility is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Gathering Place and McIntosh Place are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

For information call Nancy Meaders, Director, 770-461-0813.
