A Company of Friends Theatrical Productions is excited to announce a summer of fantastic theatre for family audiences. The theatre company will take audiences on an adventure to Fantastica, stroll down the yellow brick road and make the sun come out tomorrow with our three shows in production in June, July and August.

The first offering is the professional touring production of the interactive musical “The Wizard Of Oz.” A touring cast of seven will be traveling all across Georgia performing for summer library reading programs and there is sure to be a performance near you. Library reading performances are free, but you must check with the library to see if admission tickets are required. Performances are schedule at the Peachtree City Library, Fayetteville Library, Carnegie Library, Tyrone Library,  Jonesboro Library, Barnesville Library, Central Coweta Library and many more. Go to www.fcft.net/ACOFOz to see the entire list of library locations that the group will be at this summer. If you can’t make a library show, Oz will also have several public performances at the Fayetteville Train Depot August 2 and 3 at 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. and August 4 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. These depot performances will include a fun meet, greet and treat party after each show with the cast. Come dressed as your favorite Oz character and take part in our costume contest, too.  Tickets for the August public shows are $12 online and $14 at the door and can be purchased online at the Oz page at our website.
