The McIntosh boys and Whitewater girls will be trying to top off magical seasons Saturday with a state title.
McIntosh shut out Pope 3-0 Wednesday evening and will face Houston County at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night at the University of West Georgia stadium in Carrollton.

Whitewater advanced by beating region rival Starr’s Mill 3-1 Tuesday night and will face another region rival, Northgate, for the title Saturday afternoon at noon at the University of West Georgia stadium.

McIntosh will be seeking its fourth state title, while Whitewater is playing for a second title. The Whitewater girls last won the championship in 2007, and the McIntosh boys also won their last title in 2007.
