Booth’s Cole Guenther wins Ga. free throw contest

J.C. Booth seventh-grader Cole Guenther won the Georgia State Free Throw Championship in Macon Saturday March 16. The event was held by the Knights of Columbus. Cole sank 21 out of 25 free throws. Cole won in the 12-year-old boys’ division. He played for Coach Dave Edinger seventh-grade J.C. Booth basketball, PTC Rec basketball and also has played travel basketball in Atlanta. Cole’s dad Gary has coached him in PTC rec ball and Cole credits him for helping him advance his game.
