One of the crowd pleasing events at the annual Pancake Saturday, sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, was the pancake eating contest for kids. The contestants sat down at a table with a plate of three syrup-coated pancakes in front of them. Whoever ate them fastest would win a $25 gift card from Target plus a lifetime pass to future Kiwanis pancake events. The kids were excited until they were told their arms had to go behind their backs.
