Poetry Out Loud Friday night

The Peachtree City Library presents Poetry Out Loud on Friday evening, January 18, beginning at 7:30 p.m. This “after hours” program will feature poets Susan Lilley and Phillip Deaver who will read poems fro their most recent collections.

Lilley is the recipient of a 2009 Rita Dove Award. She teaches English at Trinity Preparatory School and is an adjunct Professor at Rollins College, Winter Park, Florida. Deaver’s most recent book of poems is “How Men Pray.” His poems have been selected by Garrison Keillor for “The Writer’s Almanac. He is a professor of English and Writer in Residence at Rollins College, and also teaches at Spaulding University.
