The Flat Rock Middle School Fine Arts Department is planning a benefit spaghetti dinner and concert to help the victims of Hurricane Sandy Thursday, Nov. 15.
The fundraising event will feature performances by the symphonic band and all orchestra classes. In addition to dinner and music, the school’s chapter of the Builder’s Club will be selling baked goods. Select art classes and the school’s Art Club will have crafts and art works for sale, and the very popular Flat Rock Eagle TV will have a slideshow during the concert. Chorus students will contribute to the event by helping to serve the dinner that will be catered by Cut and Catered Your Way.
Dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a concert following at 7 p.m. All money raised will be sent directly to the Red Cross. The $7 tickets can be purchased at the door.
