Mrs. Faith H. Parent, 75, of Peachtree City, Ga., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012.
She was born in Chicago, Ill. on Feb. 2, 1937 to Hugh Haney and Victoria Hahn Haney. Mrs. Parent was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, her sorority Beta Sigma Phi for 25 years, the Elks Auxiliary for 11 years and the Circle of Friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Tracy Parent Lavallie.
Mrs. Parent is survived by her husband of 52 years I. F. “Bud” Parent of Peachtree City; son Terry Parent & wife Charlotte of Jonesboro; daughter Tamara Romero and husband Hector of Fayetteville and 7 grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City with Fr. John Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. with a Wake service at 8:30 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son, Peachtree City.
