Dinner on the Lawn in Fayetteville this Friday

Fayetteville Main Street is excited to host the 2nd Annual “Dinner on the Lawn” on the grounds of the Historic Courthouse square this Friday, September 21. This all-ages, community event is open to everyone and will have great food and live entertainment from 6-8 p.m.

The Olde Courthouse Tavern, located in Downtown Fayetteville will be serving barbeque chicken, macaroni and cheese, slaw sweet potato soufflé, biscuit, tea, lemonade or water for $8 adult and $4 child plates per person. After dinner, a selection of homemade desserts which will include banana pudding and a delicious vanilla caramel crunch cake will be available for $3 each. While enjoying dinner, attendees will be treated to a live music performance on the outdoor stage throughout the evening.

Main Street Coordinator Joyce Waits wants to encourage everyone to come out, bring the family and enjoy the nice cool weather. This will be the only Dinner on the Lawn event for 2012.
