The Disc Golf Course at Peachtree City is having their re-opening this Saturday, July 28 from 12-5 p.m. The Course has been refurbished by Boy Scout Alan Bowers for his Eagle project.
Alan directed and supervised numerous scouts and adults throughout the project. Funding for this project is ongoing and has been helped by generous donations of local business like Newcousa and Yardtime. Alan powder coated the baskets and installed rubber Tee boxes. This has saved the city major expense, many man-hours and greatly improved the quality of play and appearance of the course.
The re-opening will include disc play, sno-cones, soft drinks, and fun for all ages.
