This Saturday, June 16 is the first Market Day event of 2012, along with the Andy Buffington Car Show, as Fayetteville Main Street welcomes everyone to the Lane Brown Gazebo in Downtown Fayetteville to browse through a variety of vendors showcasing their homemade and homegrown products. Everything from jewelry, jellies, flowers, fresh produce and birdhouses, and some delicious desserts are available for sale to the public.

The Market opens at 10 a.m. and will close at 4 p.m.Subsequent Market Days will be held on the third Saturday of every month, now through November, and on the fourth Saturday of October.

Main Street Coordinator, Joyce Waits said, “Our Market Day has definitely grown over the past few years, and we already have over 80 vendors signed up and ready to go. With our fifth year approaching, I am very pleased that not only do we have new vendors, but a lot of our vendors have come back that participated in Market Day last year. We are very excited that our Fayetteville residents want to support local growers and entrepreneurs.”
