Enjoy dinner, a show and support a mission this Saturday, May 12, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church’s UnBelizeable variety Show and Dinner.
Show times are 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center and the cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and under.
All proceeds will benefit FFUMC’s 2012 Belize Mission Trip.
“We have many talented acts from both members of our congregation and the community,” said Joan Aycock, music coordinator. “They include singing, dancing, drama and comedy acts. We’re still accepting acts and would love for the community to show us what you’ve got!”
Dinner features a main course with dessert for $7. Dine in the Fellowship Hall from 5 to 6:30 p.m. or get a take-out box from 4 to 6:30 p.m. All proceeds will benefit the Belize Mission Team.
This July, FFUMC has the opportunity to serve in ministry and build relationships in the small, third-world village of Maskall in Belize. While there, the mission team of 34 people will engage in projects with children and adults involving sports, construction, medicine and worship. Proceeds from the variety show and dinner are vital to the team and its mission.
Tickets are available at the church office.
