Lisbon Baptist Church has announced the calling of David Rathbun as their associate pastor/minister to youth and children, effective April 1, 2012.
Rathbun comes to Lisbon after serving five years as associate pastor at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Fayetteville. He and his wife, Carra, have two daughters and one son, Addison, Kendall, and Micah. Rathbun is a graduate of The University of Georgia and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Rathbun’s ministry at Lisbon will be focused on youth and children (ages birth through 12th grade).
“My goal is to help students to reach their full potential as they encounter Jesus Christ and the teaching of the Bible,” he said.
