The Celebration Choir and Orchestra of McDonough Road Baptist Church will present a musical/drama entitled “The Other Way” on Sunday, April 1, at 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m.
“This is a musical/drama for the whole family that is about how one person’s life can change so many others,” said Mark Karki, minister of music and worship.
“With stirring music and memorable dialogue, this drama will be a great help in celebrating the Easter season. The drama will help every worshipper take stock of his or her life.”
“The Other Way” is the third drama written by Karki, said David L. Chancey, senior pastor.
“The setting is a Fayetteville ad agency, and the characters struggle with the question ‘What is the meaning of life?’ Karki developed the plot and wrote the script and wove the dialogue around some very meaningful music. We pray that God will use this experience to make a great impact.”
The church is at 352 McDonough Rd. in east Fayetteville, just past the department of drivers’ services building.
Childcare is provided for both presentations, and all are welcome to attend. Call 770-460-5423 for more information, or visit www.mcdonoughroad.org.
