Mr. Donald Everett Farquhar, of Fayetteville, Ga., formerly of Douglasville, Ga., passed away at home on March 22, 2012 at the age of 80.
Mr. Farquhar was a proud veteran who served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling the world. He was a faithful member of Legacy Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lucrecia Stein Farquhar; daughters Michelle Anne Farquhar Fulmer and her husband Gary; Milbree Lynne Farquhar Lankford and her husband Michael; grandchildren MasAnne Nicole Fulmer, McKinna Grace Fulmer, Jackson Luke Lankford, Carter Benjamin Lankford; and sister Carolyn Farquhar Coghlan.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 25, 2012, at 3 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Roy Roberson, Senior Minister of Legacy Christian Church, officiated.
The family received friends on Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
A private family interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Russellville, Ky.
