COS presents weekly Lenten dramas
Each Wednesday through March 28, Christ Our Shepherd will stage a drama series, “The People vs. Judas Iscariot: The Punishment Phase.” The dramas will be from 7-7:30 p.m. at the church. The audience will serve as the jury as prosecution and defense attorneys present evidence based on the Bible and tradition. Various witnesses will be “subpoenaed” to testify, including Peter, John and Mary Magdalene. The public is invited and there is no charge. The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

St. Paul’s holds services on Wednesdays
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will hold mid-week Lenten services on Wednesdays, March 14, 21, and 28, at 5 and 7 p.m. with dinner between services at 6 p.m. The church is at 700 Ardenlee Pkwy. off Ga. Highway 74 in Peachtree City.

Word of God Lutheran plans Lenten events
Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City  will hold Wednesday mid-week Lenten services at 7 p.m. on March 14, March 21, and March 28.  Word of God meets at 303 Kelly Dr., Suite 10, Peachtree City.  Larry Lystig is the interim pastor. For more information, call the church, 678-883-5310.  

COS men will view movie tomorrow
The Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Men’s Ministry, Pretty Interesting Guys’ Stuff (PIGS), will meet March 15 at 7 p.m. at the church to view the recent movie, “Courageous.” The movie has already sparked a Sunday morning class led by Brian White, and Pastor Fritz Wiese included a video clip in his latest sermon. There is no charge, and all men are welcome. The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.

St. Gabriel’s fish fry continues
St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Fayetteville is having a fish fry each Friday through March 30, featuring baked or fried Tilapia. The cost is $8 for adult plates and $5 for a child’s plate. Family meals are capped at $32 per family and consist of two adult and four children’s plates. Additional servings will be at the per plate price. The first plate is served at 5:30 p.m. each Friday. Holy Trinity run/walk set for Saturday
Holy Trinity announces the First Annual Trinity Trail 5k Run and  2k Walk on Sat. March 17 at  8 a.m. Following the race prizes will be awarded and a pancake breakfast will be served. Clarinet Choir featured Sunday at COS
Worship leadership at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will take a youthful turn on March 18. The Clarinet Choir, directed by Karl Dietmeyer, is made up of high school musicians. They will provide music at the 8:30 and 11 services, playing Bach at the prelude, Handel at the postlude, a hymn tune at communion, and accompaniments to hymns. Sanctuary Choir will sing at 8:30, but Shepherd’s Flock Singers and Ringers will be worship leaders at 11. Part of the church’s Music and The Master Wednesday afternoon ministry, these musicians are all in grades 1-5. They will sing at the offering and ring handbells. Beth Moore Bible study offered
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer the Beth Moore Bible study on “James” beginning March 21 from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. To register, email Andrea at akgne5@aol.com.

Brooks UMC will hold Easter Egg Hunt
All children are invited to bring their Easter baskets and enjoy an afternoon of crafts, games and snacks at Brooks United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 25, from 3:30 – 5 p.m.  Brooks UMC is at the corner of GA 85 Connector and Morgan Mill Road in Brooks, just 3 miles south of Starr’s Mill at 119 Morgan Mill Rd. in Brooks. Fayette Presbyterian to host Seder dinner
Fayette Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will host a Seder Dinner Wednesday, April 4, at 5:30 p.m. Church members as well as visitors are invited. The cost is $5 per person.
