Peachtree City is looking at taking on a stormwater improvement project in the Wynnmeade subdivision.
The city is spending $36,685 with Integrated Science and Engineering to prepare construction drawings and permitting for the work.
The project scope includes replacing some undersized storm drain pipes with two arch culverts under the road near 110 and 116 Wynnmeade Parkway to mitigate structural flooding, said City Engineer David Borkowski.
The expenditure was authorized by City Manager Jim Pennington last month.
Once the drawings are complete, ISE will also be in charge of permitting for the project, Borkowski said.
