COS youth will host supper, auction Sat.
Christ Our Shepherd’s Youth Groups announce a Spaghetti Supper/Auction on Saturday, Nov. 12, from 6 – 8:15 p.m., at the church. According to Melissa Jacobson, middle school and family director, and Marta Diehm, interim high school director, funds raised will support events in 2012 including the triennial National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, Affirm Leadership Week, and Middle School Retreat to Lutherock in Arden, N.C.

Men’s Chorus Night is this Saturday
Bethlehem Baptist Church will hold its Men’s Chorus Night on Saturday, Nov. 12,  at 6 p.m.  This is expected to be a fun night featuring uplifting singing by a number of visiting men’s choruses. Visitors are welcome.  The service should last about two and one half hours.  Suggested dress is business casual or better.  Bethlehem is at 475 Dividend Dr., Peachtree City, near the entrance to Falcon Field.  For more information,  contact Deacon Chairman Robert Cofer at croberth@bellsouth.net.

Holy Trinity offers special GriefShare
“Surviving the Holidays” is a special GriefShare program to help those dealing with grief during the holidays. A special holiday devotional will be provided.  Sessions will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 16, from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, Nov. 18, from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in room #205 of the Faith Formation Building at Holy Trinity Church, 101 Walt Banks Rd, Peachtree City.  To register and for more information, contact Gayle Reddy, 770-631-8251

Holiday GriefShare offered at COS
On Thursday, Nov. 17, Christ Our Shepherd will offer two workshops at 7 p.m.  “Grief Share Surviving the Holidays” helps people deal with the intense pain of grief during the holiday season. “Divorce Care Surviving the Holidays” helps people not only to survive but also to find strength, healing and tools to move forward. St. Andrew’s annual fine arts fair coming up
St. Andrew’s in the Pines will host its Fine Art and Christmas Fair and ECW Golden Elephant and Bake Sale Saturday, Dec. 3, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Parish Hall. 316 Peachtree Pkwy N., Peachtree City.The event will feature juried fine art and crafts including glass art, fine art, textiles, local honey, jewelery, hand-made cards, sweets, Christmas ornaments, rustic birdhouses and more. Leave toys, food, clothing at CCC
Community Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 349 Kenwood Rd., Fayetteville, is a drop off point for Toys for Tots, non-perishable food and paper goods for Fayette Samaritans and is collecting coats and sweaters for the needy.  Donors are asked to call in advance (770-460-9745) before dropping off any items to the church.  

Vendors needed at Holy Trinity
Vendor applications are now being taken for Holy Trinity Catholic Church’s First Annual Holiday Bazaar set for  Saturday, Dec. 10 and Sunday Dec. 11.
