0The “Blessing of the Bikes” occurred recently at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg. The Rev. Canon Dan Hale, interim vicar at Hogansville’s St. Matthew CEC, prayed over and administered holy water to each motorcycle. Afterwards, ten people left the church for a ride. Hale also serves as priest-in-residence at Christ the King, is canon liturgist for the Diocese of the Mid-South, and serves as a member of the Bishop’s Council. He resides in Peachtree City.
