Phyllis Avrit, of the Pregnancy Resource Center in Fayetteville, recently spoke to the Women of Christ the King at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. Avrit gave a detailed introduction and report of the work and ministry of the center.

The Center is a private Christian organization, which receives no state or federal funds. It operates totally on donations from churches, individuals, and businesses.

The center offers pregnancy tests, peer counseling, education on pregnancy, abortion, and alternatives, referrals for medical, housing, adoption, and other services, a clothes closet and instructional videos.

All services are free, confidential, and available for all regardless of age, race, religion, financial, or marital status.
