CDM offers grant writing seminar
CDM/PSA Projects will present a Grant Writing Seminar Saturday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m .to 6 p.m. Seating is limited to the first 20 people to register. The venue will be Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 104 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn. Perlieu Stew coming up this month
Bethany United Methodist Church will offer its famous Perlieu Stew Saturday, Oct. 29 from noon until 5 p.m. or until the stew is sold out. Plates are $8 for adults and $5 for children. Pints of stew are $6 and quarts are $10. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Rd. Fayetteville (where Rivers and Milam meet at Lee’s Lake Road in north Fayette County).

Nat’l Heights plans Fall Festival weekend<
National Heights Baptist Church will have its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and a Special Worship Service featuring contemporary hymns at 11 a.m. the next day, followed by a potluck lunch. Activities at the Fall Festival include an antique car show, kid’s Moonwalk, a D.J., sidewalk games, face painting, free food, and more. National Heights Baptist Church is at 103 Old Norton Rd., Fayetteville (across from Sandy Creek Road and Ga. Highway 54 intersection).

FCCF announces 5th Sunday service<
The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Celebration at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Peachtree City. The theme for this event is “Men United in Christ.” The pastor at Bethlehem is the Rev. Dwight Elder. The guest preacher is the Rev. Musical concert scheduled in Tyrone
Free Spirit Ministries will celebrate its 7th Anniversary with “An Evening of Opulence,” a musical concert featuring gospel comedian Stephon and live music from “Vision.” The event will be held on Nov. 5, at the Legacy Theater, 1175 Senoia Road, Tyrone. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.; the show begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale now for $25 at www.fsmwc.org.

New Lebanon announces revival
Coweta’s New Lebanon Baptist Church, 1674 Wagers Mill Rd., Newnan, will have a Fall Revival Sunday, Oct. 22 through Wednesday, Oct. 26. Brother Gary Stewart of Corinth Baptist in Bowdon will speak at all of the services. The revival service on Sunday will be at 6 p.m. services on Monday through Wednesday will be at 7 p.m.

Coweta’s Bethel UMC has new pastor
Members of Bethel United Methodist Church, 2325 Luther Bailey Rd., Senoia, welcomed their new pastor, the Rev. Dr. Julia Crim, on Sunday. Oct, 16. Bethel offers worship services each Sunday at 9:45 a.m. All ages are welcome. Casual attire is acceptable.
