Tyler Harris, 24, of Peachtree City, Ga., died Monday Sept. 5, 2011 as a result of a tragic drowning at Lake Sinclair.

He was born March 21, 1987 in Atlanta, Ga. the son of Kelly and Sandy Harris, the brother of Bradley Harris all of Peachtree City, Ga. and the grandson of Joan Harris of Albany, Ga. He is survived by a large, loving extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tyler graduated from McIntosh High School in Peachtree City and had an associates degree in criminal justice from Gainesville State College. He was a proud member of the University of Ga Police Dept. where he was devoted to his job and had a passion for serving others.

Tyler loved the beach, water sports, country music, nascar, hunting and all things outdoors. He lived life to the fullest and leaves behind a family and friends devastated by his death at such an early age.

To honor his wishes, a Celebration of Life Service was held on Sept. 11, 2011, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Flat Creek Country Club, 100 Flat Creek Rd. Peachtree City, Ga. 30269.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider donations in his honor to the one of the following organizations and those that choose to may share any special memory of Tyler in this celebration of his life in an infomal, casual setting.
