Put on your dancing shoes, and “Jungle Boogie” over to the Frederick Brown Jr. ‘The Fred’ Amphitheater as Kool & The Gang take the stage in Peachtree City Saturday, July 16. Enjoy an evening under the stars when gates open at 7 p.m.. Local party band Second Time Around kick off the music for the night at 8 p.m., and Kool & The Gang take the stage at 9 p.m.

Kool & The Gang is the fourth in the six concert 2011 BMW of South Atlanta Summer Concert Series. Still to come in the series Bryan Adams brings his Bare Bones Tour to Peachtree City on Friday, August 5. Then, Saturday, August 20 the series closes out with a double bill featuring 10,000 Maniacs and Edwin McCain.

The Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater is a 2,500 seat state-of-the art facility owned and operated by the city of Peachtree City. ‘The Fred’ box office, located at 201 McIntosh Trail, is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Box office opens at 4 p.m. on concert day.
