Early deadline for July 6 paper
The Citizen offices will be closed Monday, July 4, for the holiday. The normal Monday deadline will be changed. The deadline will be noon on Friday, July 1, for religion articles, weddings, engagements and births to be published on Wednesday, July 6. Please make a note of this on your calendars.

CDM will offer Prophet Chambers Training
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn, will host a seminar titled Prophet Chambers Training Saturday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The speaker will be Prophet Timothy Frazier.The training is for those who feel called to the office of the prophet and for those who want to understand the role of the prophet in the 21st Century. Wilkes Grove Homecoming, Revival set
Wilkes Grove Baptist Church will celebrate its Home Coming on July 10 starting at 10:30 a.m. The Annual Revival will be Monday, July 11 through Friday, July 15. Revival starts at 7 p.m. The speaker for the week will be the Rev. Michael Benton of Fairfield Baptist Church. Wilkes Grove is at 182 Senoia Rd., Peachtree City. FFUMC’s music camp starts July 11
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will offer a summer music camp for children in kindergarten through sixth grade July 11-15. Children will learn about strings, wind instruments, singing, rhythm and more. Classes will meet every day from 9 a.m. until noon. The cost is $60 for the week. Break Away Lunch planned for July 28
Touching Hearts Ministries in Fayettville will have a Break Away Lunch July 28 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Pathway Finders Plaza in Fayetteville. Working women of Fayette County are invited to drop in during their lunch break for a free, home-cooked lunch. The topic for this month’s luncheon is networking. All are invited to bring business cards to share with one another.
