Mildred Hight Cheely, 90, of Fayetteville, died April 28, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband Warren Cheely, founder and owner of Cheely Motor Company, East Point, parents John and Willie Hight and brother Carl Hight.
She is survived by her sons Mike (Judy) Cheely of Fayetteville and Richard (Linda) Cheely of Fayetteville; grandchildren Gary (Autumn) Cheely of Senoia; Tricia (Joe) Rentz of Fayetteville; Greg (Crystal) Cheely of Brooks; Warren (Jessica) Cheely of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren Caison Alley of Fayetteville; Mackenzly Cheely of Senoia; Cannon Cheely of Senoia; sisters Mary Evelyn Devereaux of College Park and Peggye (James) Sewell of McDonough; brothers John Hight of Sardis and Charles Hight of Sardis.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, May 1, 2011 at 3:00 PM in the Overton Chapel at Fayetteville First Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating assisted by Warren Cheely. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Atlanta. The family will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 to 7:00PM.
