Mrs. Ruby Pauline Helmly Putnam, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 1, 2011.
Mrs. Putnam was an employee of General Motors and retired with over 24 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Fayetteville First Baptist Church and loved to travel with the Senior Group as well as sing in the choir at church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister
Mrs. Putnam is preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles Harold Putnam.
She is survived by her son Mike (Donna) Putnam of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Michelle Putnam and Melanie Putnam; sisters, Frances (Dan) Critchett of Orlando, FL, and Carol (Royce) Hall of Merritt Island , FL.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those who choose may make memorial donations to Fayetteville First Baptist Homebound Meal Ministry.
