Mr. Dean L. Nilges of Sharpsburg passed away February 25, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Diane Nilges of Sharpsburg; daughters, Shannon Nilges of Highlands Ranch, CO; Christine Guinan of Springfield, IL; brother, Thomas Nilges of Waterloo, IL; sister, Nadine Nilges of Godfrey, IL; granddaughter, Makynna Guinan of Springfield, IL; numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Christ the King, 4881 Hwy. 34 E, Sharpsburg, GA 30277 with Bishop David Epps officiating. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make donations to the Makynna Guinan Education Trust Fund, care of Diane Nilges, 35 Line Creek Ct., Sharpsburg, GA 30277.
