Mrs. Dura Abercrombie Davis, age 90, of Peachtree City, passed away Wednesday, February 9, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Davis and is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Martha and Dennis M. “Mike” Yearty, Sr. of Peachtree City; son and daughter in-law, Harold L. “Sonny” and Judy Davis of Brookhaven;
grandchildren, Kristen Baker; Dennis M “Skipper” Yearty, Jr. and his wife Selina; Christopher Brent Davis and his wife Paige; Melinda Moore and husband, Thomas A. “Andy”; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn; Trent; Savannah; Fallon; Drew; Mason; Kendall and Colton. A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 2 o’clock in the chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Mrs. Davis’ nephew, Mr. Mike Sorrow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Rd., Union City, GA 30291.
