St. Paul offers support group in January
Beginning in January, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer “Living Free,” a supportive community for people and families experiencing life-controlling issues. Introductory meetings begin in January on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Following the introduction, groups meet Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. Details at 770-486-3545
Word of God Lutheran changes location
Word of God Lutheran Church, which usually worships at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Peachtree City, will have a joint service with Prince of Peace Lutheran in Fayetteville on Jan. 9 only. Services will return to the conference center the following week.
Holy Trinity will present ‘Requiem’
On Jan. 15, at 7:30 p.m. the Adult Choirs of Holy Trinity Catholic Church will present “Requiem” by Gabriel Faure as well as other special music under the direction of Claire Stroud. The evening will include a reception following the concert. Holy Trinity is on the corner of Walt Banks Road and Ga. Highway 54 in Peachtree City.
Harvest Christian offers Saturday services
Harvest Christian Community Center, a division of Eleventh Hour Call Church, has begun having Saturday worship services at 10:30 a.m. at 383 N. Glynn St., (Ga. Highway 85), Fayetteville. Prayer and praise group meets in Tyrone
A group of about 35-40 believers from the “southern crescent of Atlanta” recently started what is now a weekly prayer and praise gathering in Tyrone. It was a powerful worship experience. Many contributed by singing, praying, and sharing from the Scripture. Rolling Hills Baptist has new location
Rolling Hills Baptist Church recently sold its building and property to devote more resources to missions. The congregation currently worships on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. at the Cinemark Tinseltown 17 Movie Theater in the Fayetteville Pavilion. Summit Church offers free tutoring
The Summit tutoring program is a ministry that focuses on supporting, encouraging, and serving children in the community. The church offers free tutoring and homework help for children in elementary-high school, every Wednesday when school is in session.
