Mrs. Frances Black Tanksley, 85, of Fayetteville, passed away on December 17, 2010.
Mrs. Tanksley was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park and after 40 years of dedication, she retired from Ford Motor Company.She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Tanksley.
She is survived by her son, Alan Black of Peachtree City; granddaughters, Alison (Kevin) Churchill of Freeport, FL and Katie (TY) Tyson of Acworth; great-grandchildren William Reese and Laurel Churchill, Kendyl Tyson; brother Hubert Dennis of Powder Springs; many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Phillips Gilbert officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
