Mrs. Jo Frances Bowers, 81, of Fayetteville, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2010.

Mrs. Bowers is survived by her husband, Max Alvin Bowers, Sr., sons, Max Bowers, Jr. and his wife Jane of Tarpon Springs, FL, and son Wade Bowers and his wife Angela Bowers of Sharpsburg; daughter, Elizabeth Beroset of Fayetteville; and grandchildren, Lawton, Emma, Brian, Michael, Hannah, Evan and Katherine.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 10:30 AM at Atlanta Primitive Baptist Church (1367 South Ponce de Leon, Atlanta, GA 30377) with Elder Pat McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 PM at Oak View Cemetery, Canon, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 6, 2010 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
