Registration is still open for All Saints Anglican Church’s free Children’s Music Camp set to start next Monday. The theme is “A Week of Praise” with a focus on a variety of music, especially traditional hymns and praise songs. The camp will run through Friday.

Curriculum includes singing, dancing, an introduction to various instruments, composition, and art. It also features contests, games and snacks. No previous experience is required.

Children will learn about the elements of music composition such as melody, rhythm and texture. Music director Shannon Bryan and a number of adult volunteers will spearhead the program and provide supervision for the children.

Guest musicians will begin and close each day leading worship music. This year’s new additions to the program are a string lab, a percussion lab, and a keyboard lab. Children will have the chance to experiment with guitars, violins, dulcimers and harps.

Parents and friends will be invited to the “grand finale” at noon on July 16 when the children get a chance to demonstrate what they have learned.

The camp is scheduled for 9 a.m.- 12 p.m. daily, is open to the public and all children ages 4-12, and will be held at the church at 225 South Peachtree Parkway.

To register, call the church, 770-486-5374, or visit the website, www.ptcanglican.org/registration.php.
