James Stone, a ballroom dancing instructor with over 25 year experience will be starting a new class for ladies at the Tyrone Recreation Department starting on June 6. This four week class will be on Sunday evenings from 7-8 p.m. and cost $35 per person.
These classes will consist of an hour of instruction and will be totally for the lady to learn how to follow the lead and step patterns of Swing, Cha Cha, Rhumba, Fox Trot and Waltz. The class will be limited to only 10 students, so that Stone can give lots of one-on-one instruction when needed and dance equally with each student. This class will be almost as good as a private lesson for building self confidence on the dance floor and preparing ladies for any special social function. Classes in the future will cover Salsa, Mambo, Tango, Bachata, Bolero, West Coast Swing and Hustle.
