0Mrs. Doris Eva Ragsdale King, 88, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 8, 2010.
Mrs. King was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Paul King.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Jackson and her husband Jimmy of Fayetteville; sons, David King and his wife Penny of Marietta and Alan King and his wife Deana of Marietta; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Gwen R. West of Royston, GA; sisters-in-law, Gwen King of Brevard, NC, Florrie King of Lithonia and Bonnell Lawrence of Chattanooga, TN; numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Fayetteville First Baptist Church, Overton Chapel, with Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Mrs. King will lie in state at 10:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville. For those desiring, please make donations to Fayetteville First Baptist Church Mission Trip Fund.
