This year more than 100 students applied for volunteer positions at the

Hospital, this is the second year that the Hospital has seen such excitement

about this program. The teens are divided among 11 service areas at Fayette

Community Hospital allowing them to explore the various aspects of healthcare.

The eight-week program includes CPR training, an opportunity to attend

a state conference and day-to-day shadowing experiences with FCH employees.

Students who wish to participate must be 14 years of age, submit an essay

on why they want to volunteer, provide a letter of reference and be able

to commit a minimum of 25 hours over the summer. Students from Fayette,
