Howard Legg, 82, of Fayetteville, passed away on July 5, 2011.
He served his country as a member of the US Air Force. He was a 50-year member of Plumbers-Steamfitters Local #72.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lois Christine Legg of Fayetteville; daughter Judy White of Fayetteville; son Tony Legg and his wife, Lea James of Newnan; grandchildren Kristy Johnston, Michael White & Michael Legg; two great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
A funeral service will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with the Reverend Dennis Watson officiating. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
