The 2019 Public Safety Fall Festival held Oct. 18 at the Fayette County Justice Center in Fayetteville was a hit with the large number of families attending the annual event.

The festival included a number of children’s activities, a wealth of law enforcement vehicles, fire and medical vehicles, K9 demonstrations, a cute pooch from the Fayette County Animal Shelter and a Fayette County Sheriff’s Office drone flying overhead.

Best of all were the activities for the kids. A sampling of those included pumpkin painting, face painting, touch-a-truck, a hay ride and a petting zoo. And last, but not least, the festival was a blast for the many trick-or-treaters who donned Halloween costumes for the afternoon’s event.
