Mr. Everett Lee Morrow, age 79, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 4, 2018.
Everett was born on May 16, 1939 in Atlanta, Ga., to the late Andrew and Emily (Lambert) Morrow.
Everett was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather. He grew up in East Point, Ga., where he graduated from Russell high school. Later he went on to serve in the United States Air Force and from there he went to work as a Reservation Specialist with Northwest Airlines, until he retired. Mr. Morrow was known to be a “techie”, he had a love for anything associated with computers. Everett was some-what a connoisseur of dining out and he was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. He had a great love of the Lord and adored his fur babies Gizmo, Zack, Lucy, Peaches, Lilly, and Penny who was his special side-kick.
Everett was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Marcia (Rushton); his daughter: Dawn Michelle; step daughters: Kathryn Danekes and Julia Smith and step son: Lawrence Otwell; and grandchildren: Gabriella Dawn, Rachel Elizabeth, Charlotte Maria, Hayden Lawrence, Zoe Madison and Henry Nolan.
A memorial service will be held Saturday October 13, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 East Lanier Ave., Fayetteville, Ga., 30214.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mr. Morrow’s honor to the National Humane Society, church of your choice, and the American Lung Association.
